There’s more: if you are not a customer, you can choose to stop hearing from us at any time — just ask. And no matter who you are or what your previous relationship with us has been, you may also have us delete your personal information from our online system anytime, no questions asked.
When you become a customer or respond to a promotional offer that uses our online ordering system, you give us personal information about yourself (such as name, address, postal code, email address, food preferences and nutrition goals.) We use this information to provide you with information and services. This means information that tells us something about who you are, such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, credit card information, and service request details. We also use your information to track use of our web site; this lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve our users’ needs. Our website uses “cookie” data to provide better services. They remind us who you are and how you like to use our web site, based on what you’ve done and told us before. The cookie is placed in your computer and is read when you come back to our web site. Cookies let us take you to the information and features you’re particularly interested in. Prices, Discounts and Coupon Codes:
Our current prices are always displayed here for our meal packages. There is never any maintenance fee for gift cards. Prices are “grandfathered” at the original purchase price regardless of any subsequent price increases for new customers, provided all meal credits are used within 30 days for packages of 0-39 meals to a maximum of 90 days for packages 60 meals or more.
After this period the credits have no value and inactive accounts are closed. Meal credits are tied to Meal and Delivery Costs at a specific point in time. Please refer to your receipts for rules that apply to your package. Terms and Conditions are being digitally agreed to as of July 1, 2019. If do you not agree to our terms the system will not process a transaction
Delivery bags are to be returned at all times. Essential Meal Delivery will text the number given as well as email on the night of delivery to place bags out for pickup. If we receive no response or bags go missing, we reserve the right to charge for missing bags signed out to an account. The bag replacement cost is $4.75 plus tax.
Meal Expiry and Refunds July 1, 2010 – June 30, 2019.
Meal credits expire 6 months after the purchase date. After this period the credits have no value and inactive accounts are closed. Meal credits are tied to Meal and Delivery Cost at a specific point in time.
For packages of 60 meals or more, refunds are available to clients for any reason without cause and will be made within 30 days for 50% of the unused balance, less an administration fee of $100.
No refunds will be issued on packages of fewer than 60 meals.
Gift Cards are final sale and once redeemed follow the same rules as above.
Special Promotional Offers and Gift Cards:
For special promotional offers that involve coupon codes and gift cards, we’ll credit your account for the amount purchased towards a package that Essential Meal Delivery offers. Use your balance to purchase anything on our price list, which may be seen here. The number of meals purchased depends on the size and content of the meal. If there is any unused balance in your account after your coupon redemption, it may be used for a renewal.

Gift cards once redeemed follow the rules and terms that apply to all meal packages. Meal and Delivery Costs constantly change, once a gift card is redeemed the credits expire following the rules noted above.
When redeeming your gift card you are using it towards meal delivery service only.
Transfer and Alteration: Once purchased, customers may alter their preferences and upgrade or downgrade to other packages anytime, using the remaining balance in their account.
Custom Delivery Requests:
Requesting custom delivery times will come with Extra Fees. Making a blanket statement “to deliver by a certain hour or else” is not included in our service promise. Its simple, switching our business model to suit your needs has to be Essential Meal Delivery’s choice and fees will apply. Delivery times that are listed online are timelines that we strive to meet.
